MSME Development Institute. Allahabad,
which is the main MSME Development Institute. in the state of Uttar Pradesh was set
up in the year of 1956. Out of 28 districts in the
state, it maintains a close liaison with the state industries
department, financial institutions, voluntary organizations
and other agencies concerned with the development of small
scale industries in the state.
MSME Development Institute,
Allahabad, was setup in the year 1956 at Elgin Road and is currently
located at E- 17-18, Industrial Estate, Naini, Allahabad, with its
branch at Manduadih, Varanasi (Banaras), provides Techno-Economic and
managerial services to entrepreneurs of 28 Districts of Eastern Uttar
Pradesh out of 89 districts in the state.
It supports the development efforts of
these agencies by providing required information on S. S. I. Sector,
rendering technical consultancy and other technical inputs and by formal
and informal interaction.
Effective linkage is maintained with D.
I. C.s in the jurisdiction for providing the techno-economic and
managerial consultancy support for the benefit of entrepreneurs both
directly and through D. I. C.s.
